On the 15th of September, 2023, on the occasion of National Engineer’s Day, which is celebrated in respect of the late Sir M. Visvesvaraya, an exciting event was organized at the Graduate School of Engineering and Technology, GTU by the cultural club. The event commenced with an encouraging and knowledgeable speech by respected director Sir S. D. Panchal followed by a short film on the life of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India's foremost civil engineers. His immense contributions to the field of engineering in India were shown through the video. A general knowledge quiz was also held in which the top ten teams were selected for an adventurous technical Track-N-Hunt game. The remaining teams were offered to perform various activities like photography, painting, poster-making, paper crafts, etc. The winners of respective activities were rewarded with prizes.
Engineers' Day at our college was a jubilant and inspiring affair that brought together students, faculty, and industry professionals to celebrate the remarkable contributions of engineers to society. The campus buzzed with excitement as students showcased their innovative ideas through exhibitions and crafts. The day was dedicated to the field of imparting valuable knowledge and motivation to aspiring engineers. The day was a perfect blend of education and entertainment, with fun competitions and cultural performances adding to the festive atmosphere. It was a day to honour the relentless spirit of innovation and problem-solving that defines the engineering community, fostering a sense of pride and camaraderie among all who attended.
